"Usually you audition and then you sweat it out. This time I got a call one night about midnight, with a lot of heavy breathing, and then a voice says, "I'm keeping my fingers crossed."
"I said, "Who? What? Who is this??"
It turned out to be her old pal from Yale Drama School - Steven Keats, who had overheard talk at Universal that Dori Brenner might play his wife.
And as we all know, she got the part!
Now, if they'd only release this on DVD!!
