Steven as Prosecutor

Shadows & Fog 1991

Shadows & Fog:
See if you can spot Steven in this scene.  Scroll to 3:15 and watch as the group wakes & harasses poor Woody.  At the end of the group scene, Steven has a few more final words alone with Woody.  He's uncredited in this film but its him.  He's so incredibly versatile - such an amazing actor!

As Jackie Brown would say, "Good stuff!"

A Day at the Bookstore

I was at my favorite bookstore today having a Starbucks coffee and reading through some random books. I read a few things that made me think of Steven...

The first quote is from a book by Ruth Fishel called:
'Hang in 'Til the Miracle Happens'
She dedicates this book to her son:

"To my dear, loving, generous and much
talented son, Bob Fishel (1963-1992) who could not wait for the next miracle.
May your pain be transformed into healing energy for all of those who still suffer on this earth."

and then this next quote, believe it or not, out of a Regis Philbin book:

"Our quietest heroes, much more than you think, make the loudest impact of all"

These heartfelt words really moved me and since they reflect how I feel about Steven, I wanted to share them.

Steven Keats Birthday - February 6th

On February 6th, it will be Steven's birthday.  He would have turned 67.

Dearest Steven,

Whereever you are now in this beautiful mysterious universe, I just wanted you to know I'll be thinking of you.  I'll keep a candle burning in your memory.  Thank you for the JOY you've brought me through your work.  You are an inspiration in so many ways.  You were a great actor and really poured your heart and soul into your roles.  You didn't always receive the credit you so deserved but that makes you even more special - like a hidden treasure. You're my favorite star in the sky - and the very brightest - keep on shining.
